Pajama Day

Goodness gracious I found these pics of pajama day from a couple weeks ago I forgot to post! It was such a fun, cozy day! Wouldn't it be nice if it was pajama day EVERY day?!? :)

Skitch

In science on Tuesday we got to use the iPads again. We used a program called Skitch. We took pictures and used Skitch to label them. It was awesome!

Dr. Seuss' Birthday & Prowler Pride

We had a wild and crazy Friday today! We celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday and Read Across America Day. We also heard from FFA for Prowler Pride!

Our day began with a special guest reader- Annika's grandma! She read us the Dr. Seuss book: If I Ran the Zoo

After music the FFA club was here from Lincoln for Prowler Pride!

It's a little dark but yes, we are watching Justin Bieber read us The Cat in the Hat. We had some very excited girls in our room! We also watched Tim Tebow read Green Eggs and Ham.

In the computer lab we went to seussville.com- check it out!

Choral Reading

In Poetry Workshop we learned that the word "chorally" means more than one voice. We found poems we liked with our groups and decided how we were going to read them with each other. Some parts we read together, others we took turns. We practiced and then presented to the class! Enjoy the videos! :)

Valentine's Day

We had a blast on Thursday for Valentine's Day! We did a Valentine's Day scavenger hunt, played a multiplication game called You Stole My Heart, had free choice game time in the computer lab, and then opened our Valentines and played games in the afternoon.
We had a Happy Heart Day! <3
