Five for Friday & Blogger Exchange Link Ups!

It's time again to link up with DoodleBugs for Five for Friday! I feel like I just did this! It must mean school is coming if the weeks are starting to fly by faster!

1. Last weekend I came to school to start to tackle some of the cupboards in my classroom!

Unfortunately this is how I left it that day!

2. Some of my teacher friends and I had a shopping trip to Fargo on Wednesday. We hit the mall, Hobby Lobby, Art and Learn (the store EVERY teacher needs), TJ Maxx, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Target. It was SO much fun! :)

3. I got these super adorable chairs for my classroom a local shop called The Shed!

4. My Blogger Exchange package came in the mail! Thank you so much to Erin at The Short and Sassy Teacher for the awesome package of goodies! Loved it all!!!!

I'm linking this post up with the fabulous organizers of this exchange, Covered in Glitter and Glue and Adventures of Ms. Smith. Head to their blogs to see what other amazing things everyone received! It was so much fun!

5. I'm going to repaint the cupboards in my laundry room. If all goes well in there, I'm gonna attempt ALL my kitchen cupboards! They are SO outdated! I may be crazy and it is the WRONG time of year to start a project like that. Guess that's what I get for not getting on top of it earlier!!!

Have a wonderful weekend!

  3. I am loving your new chairs! They are so adorable! I wish I had cupboards in my laundry room!!! Apparently there is no extra room in an apartment for all that :( .

  4. Good luck with the cabinets. I'v edone it before--just take your time and they will turn out great.
I like the red carpet in your room, it make it look more alive. We've just got a bunch of laminate--boring.

Good luck with the school cupboards!

  5. Is it just the photo or is your classroom enormous?! Looks amazing from that vantage point! I got a chuckle out of your "yikes" closet photo. At least you're brave enough to open yours. :-)

  7. I can relate to your closet. I actually emptied every closet, cupboard, and bookshelf in my room this year. Now everything is nice and organized! I live in South Dakota but my grown kids live and work in Fargo. I love that place! Have a great school year!

  9. Yay! I'm so glad you liked it! I had a lot of fun putting it together, but chevron and polka-dots were hard to find...just kidding! They're EVERYWHERE!

  10. Those chairs are really pretty! I am dreading tackling my closets! I always have good intentions to go through everything and then run out of time.
